Medvedev L.N. writes to the Commission on the:
In the newspaper "Trud" from 30.01.85, an article was published about the phenomenon observed by the pilots of an airplane flying to Tallinn.
Some changes in the phenomenon described in the article are very similar to my observations of what I saw.
Approximately on December 18-24, about 18 hours in the direction of the "Bear Lakes" of the Shchelkovsky highway (southeast), a halo was visible in the sky, as around the moon in severe frost, with a glowing dot in the center.
The halo would be filled with a foggy veil. I observed this phenomenon around 1-1.5. Then the light in the center went out and for a while there was a green cloud of indeterminate shape in this place, but the halo remained. I did not observe any further changes. But this phenomenon was seen by another citizen, whom I asked what he thought about it.
He replied that he had been watching this phenomenon from the balcony for a long time, but could not explain what it was. Unfortunately, I do not know his coordinates, but perhaps he lives in the same area as me.

Booster, the rocket and tracks
For UFOs often take stages of rockets, parts of space ships burning in the atmosphere, the launches of various missile technology for military purposes, etc., and traces from them. They attract attention mostly in the dark, but in the day time have a greater aura of mystery.
Formation of the track of the launch vehicle occurs in the tropopause (the layer between the troposphere and stratosphere), which sharply reduced the vertical temperature gradient. The emergence of the so-called "jellyfish" influenced by water vapor, which are subject to enhanced condensation.
