I read your article in the newspaper Trud and immediately remembered the incident that occurred on December 26-27, 84. Once at work, my friend told me that in the evening his wife noticed through the window that a star was "hanging" over the village of Semibratovo, where they live, he somehow did not pay attention to it. After a while, I was convinced myself, but later, when we looked at this star, it was no longer there.

That's what he told me this morning.

I live 5 km from the village of Semibratovo, in the village of Goluzinovo, when I was returning from work by bus, we walked several people along the road to the village - 200 m, the village stands on a mountain and the whole district is visible up to 20 km, in Semibratovo as in the palm of my hand. When we were walking at 17-30, it was dark, the starry sky, one friend said, "Look what it is over Semibratov." The sky was starry, clear.

We looked and saw that a little to the left of the village a bright star was burning at an altitude (we did not determine the exact height). Then from this star in different directions quickly, for a few seconds, the radiation went uniform in all directions on the dark eastern side it was very noticeable. Approximately at the border of the sky from our village stopped, there was this border is clearly expressed in the sky. Further, this star quickly somehow turned and disappeared in the south-in the direction of the horizon, leaving behind a bright green tail, the most amazing thing is that it had been hanging motionless before.

The remaining halo of light "pulsation" was then visible for a long time in the sky.

We watched it for 7-8 minutes. When I came home, I told my mother, "look what's happening in the sky." there was also a halo visible. We all thought it was some kind of test.

In the morning at work, one employee also saw this star over the village in the evening, rays of light went vertically up and down from it, thought it was a refraction of light.
