Mikhail Molodozhnikov writes to the Commission on the:

I am writing about my memories of the Druzhba camp.

When I was at the camp in the summer, I observed something interesting and curious. On June 18, 1988, when I was at the celebration of the 25th anniversary of the camp, I was unexpectedly informed by friends of a very exciting message that they had seen an object that shimmered with all the colors of the rainbow. I didn't believe it. They said, "Come with us." And I went. There I suddenly saw a dazzling and iridescent figure of a man pass through the woods and quickly disappear there. We got scared and ran away to our own and reported everything to the counselor. We went there with the counselor, but there was no one there.

The next day, a friend of mine went there after breakfast, and this is what he said: "I heard two quick conversations. A few minutes later, this conversation was repeated, and then an incomprehensible motor noise was heard, but there was no one nearby."

From June 20 to 21, at night, when we were all asleep, one of the friends who was sleeping near the door suddenly screamed in a frightened voice. In the morning I asked him what he was shouting. He began to tell that at first something was shining on his face, and then when he opened his eyes, he saw a man standing near the door. He was all iridescent and he had no head and disappeared before our eyes, as if he did not exist at all.
