Initial data
Observation of Comrade. Lidiya Nikolaevna Evdokimova and Oleg Evgenievich Evdokimov, who live in Voronezh on the night of May 14-15, 1981.
We were traveling by cart from the station "Perezd", located between the station of Rzhaksa and the station. Uvarovo in the village . Progress, located 20 km from the city of Uvarovo, Tambov region. there were 5 of us, the time was 01.45. Climbing the hillock that hides the village from us. Progress we saw the glow of the sky in the area of the village. Climbing up the mountain, we saw an object in the shape of a ball of 1/2 l.d. silvery-white glow above the village, which was 2 km away.
The object hung motionless, then the rays separated from it, in all directions from its circumference, they moved away from the object, and a "black frame" formed around it, that is, a rectangle that was darker than the general background of the sky. The rays, as they moved away from the object, turned into a ring consisting of a white shroud, the ring constantly expanded and occupied 1 \ 2 of the visible sky. After the appearance of the ring, the object began to move steadily to the north, it moved very slowly and finally went over the horizon. The observation time is 10 minutes.
Hypotheses
Booster, the rocket and tracks
For UFOs often take stages of rockets, parts of space ships burning in the atmosphere, the launches of various missile technology for military purposes, etc., and traces from them. They attract attention mostly in the dark, but in the day time have a greater aura of mystery.
Formation of the track of the launch vehicle occurs in the tropopause (the layer between the troposphere and stratosphere), which sharply reduced the vertical temperature gradient. The emergence of the so-called "jellyfish" influenced by water vapor, which are subject to enhanced condensation.
