The self-proclaimed yovi expert believes that the footage showing a boar cut in half and large "footprints" leading away from the scene are proof of the existence of this creature.

The eerie minute-long video, which was reportedly filmed in North Queensland, Australia, shows a group of workers discovering a wild boar carcass neatly torn in two. Next to the body, "traces" were also seen coming from a graphic scene found several years ago, but recently reappeared on the Internet.

The men could be heard pondering what could have caused the animal's death, as one guy said: "Damn it, it was torn in half, and then this is next to him." He pointed the camera at the running board, which was much larger in width and length than his work boot.

"He went uphill," he added, as the footage shows that the trail seemed to disappear into the bushes.

Workers also reported traces of driveways and a feeling as if they were being watched.

They allegedly followed the tracks for several meters until they found the corpse.

But although the video did not allow us to come to a conclusion about what caused the traces, the alleged expert claims to know the answer.

Dean Harrison, who has spent 25 years researching yowie — the Australian version of Bigfoot — said that this clip is evidence of the existence of an ape-like creature from Aboriginal folklore. He explained:

"These toes are perfect–just like other relic hominid specimens."

He also stated that the worker's reaction seemed "very sincere" and that he had received reports that "animals were constantly being torn in half."

Mr. Harrison's research center, Australian Yowie Research, has recorded more than 1,000 reports of yowie in all Australian states and territories. According to his findings, the most convincing results were obtained from New South Wales (54%) and Queensland (30%).

Original news

An self-professed yowie expert believes footage showing a boar sliced in half and large "footprints" leading away from the scene is proof the creature exists.

The eerie minute-long video, which was reportedly filmed in North Queensland, Australia, shows a group of workers discovering the carcass of a wild boar ripped cleanly in two. "Footprints" were also seen near the body, heading away from the graphic scene that was found several years ago but recently resurfaced online.

The men were heard pondering over what could have caused the animal’s death, as one bloke says: "F***ing ripped clean in half, and then this next to it." He panned the camera over to the footpring which was much larger than his workboot in width and length.

“It’s gone up the hill,” he added as the footage shows the trail seemed to disappear into the bush. The workers also reported drag marks off the access track and feeling like they were being watched.

They allegedly followed the tracks for a few metres until they discovered the carcass.

But while the video didn't come to a conclusion on what caused the footprints, a supposed expert claims to have the answer.

Dean Harrison, who has spent 25 years researching yowies — Australia’s version of Bigfoot — has claimed the clip is evidence of the ape-like creature from Aboriginal folklore. He explained: "Those toes are perfect – like other examples of relic hominids."

He also declared that the worker's reactions seemed "very genuine” and that he received reports of "animals being ripped in half all the time." He added: "In my opinion, everything looks right."

Mr Harrison’s research hub, Australian Yowie Research, has logged over 1,000 reports of yowies in every Australian state and territory. According to its findings, the most compelling findings came from New South Wales (54% and Queensland (30%).
