CERTIFICATE of observation in the village . Russian-Vysotsky Nesterenko Grigory Mikhailovich, party worker. Education - higher (physical mat. faculty of Pedagogical Institute)
On the night of May 14-15 , 1981 I went out on the porch and saw a flying ball. It was very bright - brightness and color, as in electric welding. A cone-tail was visible behind the ball, which was illuminated faintly (dark gray). Behind this tail, as its continuation, a strip of smoke (?) or steam (?) was visible white-gray color. This streak was very long.
The direction of flight is from east to west.
The balloon was not flying very fast: with the speed of an airplane. In the area of the village . Russian-Vysotsky he made a sharp turn and flew north.
The weather is warm, calm. There are cumulus clouds in the sky. It wasn't raining. The air temperature is about 9-10°
The flight altitude is approximately 0I km. The viewing angle is about 60°, after the turn - about 80° (almost vertically). I didn't see the moon. The size is like a large (larger), large star. There was no sound.
The area was not illuminated.
The duration of observation is from 01 h 50 mni to 02 h 25 min.
After the object disappeared, the strip remained (as from a jet plane).
I have observed such a phenomenon for the first time. I haven't heard or read about UFOs. I called the Pulkovo Observatory - they explained that it was an unsuccessful rocket launch.

For UFOs often take stages of rockets, parts of space ships burning in the atmosphere, the launches of various missile technology for military purposes, etc., and traces from them. They attract attention mostly in the dark, but in the day time have a greater aura of mystery.
Formation of the track of the launch vehicle occurs in the tropopause (the layer between the troposphere and stratosphere), which sharply reduced the vertical temperature gradient. The emergence of the so-called "jellyfish" influenced by water vapor, which are subject to enhanced condensation.
