In "Izvestia" 30.07.1984, an article by G. Alimov "UFO under the supervision of scientists" was published. After reading it, I immediately remembered a vividly imprinted phenomenon that I had observed for a long time. I wanted to tell someone right away, but where at that time? Now there is an opportunity to whom. I think, is it worth it? does it matter? Maybe someone else has observed similar phenomena, then it is interesting to compare. Still, I will describe it - it is not difficult.
In the town of Pribylovo, 30 km south of Vyborg, in October 1957, in the evening at 19-30 or 20-00, I walked home with a friend from the canteen. I happened to look at the dark sky and saw: at an altitude of 150-200 meters, a little to the side (not overhead), a light strip was moving in the direction from east to west (planes were not flying at that time). The shape is in the form of a huge sausage. The length is 10-12 meters in diameter, as it seemed to me 2.5 - 3 meters. The speed of movement of the whole "sausage" is constant: 90-100 km / h
The composition of the object: jets of light greenish-yellowish color in the form of sparkling bundles resembling shreds of processed flax.
These jets at the top of the object moved in the same direction as the object itself. With swirls down. And the lower jets moved as if in the opposite direction, like a tank caterpillar. But even inside the object, the upper interior of it was not visible, but it seemed that all sorts of violent swirls were boiling chaotically there, but there was no noise. Strictly delimiting words of the opposite direction is not noticeable.
The impression is that this "sausage" in the form of a Chinese dragon moved in tangles-bundles in a straight line without changing the general direction. The front and back parts are rounded. The surfaces are not smooth, but wavy. There were no sparks, no traces left.
My opinion: perhaps it was a magnetic storm, which then "spread out" in the Gulf of Finland, as moving away and hiding behind the treetops, its barely noticeable decrease seemed. By observing time, approximately 1 minute.

For UFOs often take stages of rockets, parts of space ships burning in the atmosphere, the launches of various missile technology for military purposes, etc., and traces from them. They attract attention mostly in the dark, but in the day time have a greater aura of mystery.
Formation of the track of the launch vehicle occurs in the tropopause (the layer between the troposphere and stratosphere), which sharply reduced the vertical temperature gradient. The emergence of the so-called "jellyfish" influenced by water vapor, which are subject to enhanced condensation.
