In connection with the article "Exactly at 4. 10 ...", the newspaper "Trud" dated January 30, I want to inform you about the phenomenon observed in 1960 by me and my mother, as well as my aunt. I didn't report it anywhere before, because firstly, I didn't know where, and, secondly, I knew about the skeptical attitude to such messages.

It was in 1969 , about the month of March (I don 't remember exactly in Mogocha Chita region, where I lived then.

My mother, Agnia Fedorovna Sycheva, and I were returning home after an evening movie session. The time was somewhere between 22-30 and 23-30 nights. there was no one on the street. Suddenly, in the air at a not very high altitude above a long warehouse, we saw a ray of light with a bright yellow disk inside.

The light beam was diffused, so to speak, transparent, and the disk was dense. The beam of light did not start from one point and did not reach the ground or the roof of the warehouse, but looks like a trapezoid, the sides of which were clearly marked, and the upper and lower sides were imperceptibly interrupted. more precisely, to call it a segment of the beam.

The disk inside did not seem to be a ball, namely a disk of bright yellow color, much larger (apparently) than the moon and brighter than the moon.

During those 3-5-7 minutes that we walked and watched this beam, exchanging opinions among ourselves on this occasion, this beam did not make any special changes.

He was either moving very slowly (or were we walking?), or was in one place at all. Maybe he was moving at the beginning of how we saw him. The phenomenon was quite monotonous, without any changes.

the distance to it (and hence its size) is difficult to determine. I can only tell you the following.

Observing it, we walked about half a kilometer. At first we observed the beam ahead-to our right. Then, when they got as close to it as possible, they observed it at an angle of 45 degrees to their right. then we went a little to the left, and in order to see the beam, we had to turn back.

At the same time, I repeat, the beam was practically in one place. Visually and presumably, he was 300-1000 meters from the ground.

We went home, and after 3-5 minutes I went outside, but the phenomenon had already disappeared.

My aunt, Zinaida Fyodorovna Sycheva, was on duty at the hospital that night. coming out of the hospital premises into the courtyard at about 0-30 am, she saw (in another place) 2 moons. the real moon was quite low above the horizon. The second bright object was a disk, the same size that we saw, but without a ray. the disk was bluish in color.

After watching him for a while, she went to the hospital. I came out again about 10 minutes later and saw him again, but only slightly shifted. The next day I asked about this phenomenon from one of my friends, an employee of the weather station. He replied that no phenomenon was noticed, that they say it could be some kind of radiosonde.

there were no conversations in the city on this occasion, which means that there were almost no observers of this phenomenon except for us.
