UFO. Uzbekistan

Sitnikova Elena Alekseevna, 25 years old, philologist, Tashkent (Uzbek SSR) writes to the Commission on:

In 1971, in the middle of June on the 20th (I don't remember exactly), being in a pioneer camp at the address of the UZSSR, Gazalkent village, Chirchik district, Tashkent region (pioneer camp "Geologist"), my comrades and I noticed an unusual phenomenon.

It was evening, twilight; the sky was clear and starry, there was no wind. It was cool, I was wearing a sweater. We went to the cinema with a squad at 20.30 local time. We sat down, the movie started. I was sitting in the last row.

In the middle of the movie, someone shouted, "Look at the sky!". Directly above the domed stage in the sky (there was no moon) there was a smoke-colored hemisphere. Big. Very regular shape with clear borders. It looks like fog, homogeneous. The form did not change. Didn't move. The height is about 500 m . A regular semicircle.

Then it grew in height, covered half the sky. The contrast did not change. It became clearer. There was a sense of materiality. The angle to the horizon is about 10-20°. It was all hanging

to the west, a little to the south. We watched it for about 3 hours (the whole ended, came back, went to bed).

During the observation there was a terrible fear, panic arose. But at the same time there was interest. There were no sound extraneous effects and smells. The appearance of this effect slightly affected the movie broadcast - the sound became quieter, everything became visible as in a fog.

Before the observation, SETI knew nothing about the problem. There are no sketches and photos of this.

On the trail. the day repeated the same thing in the same place at the same time. Everything was perceived the same way.
