This phenomenon occurred in 1975 or 1976 at the end of July, at 0-20. It struck me and made me relive these moments in surprise and fear.

That night I was fishing near the village of Lyamino, on the banks of the Chusovaya River. It was probably at the end of July. While waiting for the morning dawn, I built a small fire, sat near it, smoked and looked at the fire.

The night was quiet, crazy, starless and very dark. I didn't see any fishermen on the shore nearby. Apparently, there were none.

The time was already past midnight (0-20) when I suddenly noticed that it was as if the darkness of the night began to recede. A pale uniform illumination began to appear all around in a decent space, resembling moonlight in nature, but very weak, although after the thick darkness it was palpable. This weak illumination also resembled the beginning of an ordinary dawn, only at an unnaturally fast pace. After a few seconds, the lighting had already grown from the darkness of the night to a dense twilight and the houses, which were about 1.5 km away from me, became distinguishable.

When I looked at the sky, I saw that almost above me in the sky there was a bright (but not dazzling) glowing object having the shape of a disk. Moreover, looking at it, I effortlessly noticed that this light disk, increasing in size, was rapidly approaching the Earth, and not along a curve or an inclined line, but along the correct vertical.

At that moment it was creepy to me, because the phenomenon was vague and incomprehensible, but I continued to observe the falling celestial object with surprise and curiosity.

I have some eye, and it seems to me that at a distance of 5-7 meters the disk stopped its movement to the surface of the Earth. I noticed that just as clearly.

When stopping, light rings began to diverge from the illuminated disk, sharp, not blurred, having a regular closed circle, separate from each other at intervals.

The first ring is small, covering the disk near it. Then this ring, which did not open, began to move away from the disk, increasing in diameter, and after it, the same new light rings appeared from the disk.

At the same time, there were 5-6 of these rings. The outer rings, of small diameter, moving away from the disk gradually turned white and disappeared.

Such separation and extinction of the rings went on continuously. Maybe 15-20 seconds after the appearance of the rings, a distant, muffled, prolonged explosion was heard, or more precisely, some kind of clap "Yah-h-h-h!" then the disk seemed to be slowed down (yes, it was probably not a random single explosion - it was the starting pulse of the engine) by a rhythmic motor system, inextricably emitting light rings, suspended its fall.

After stopping the falling of the disk and the emission of light rings, the disk became slowly, then quickly vertically, decreasing in size and paling with its glow.

Until the moment of disappearance in the height of the disk, the annular light radiation continued continuously. After a few seconds, it became barely noticeable and disappeared completely. And the night was still dark again. quiet, as if nothing had happened. It was as if there was a 2-minute mirage, and that's all.
