At one time, strange things began to happen in our house. Then suddenly the electric stove will turn on by itself. I remember exactly what I turned off, but it turns out to be on fire. Then suddenly, in the middle of the night, the light in the room turns on. I wake up and it's on fire. Then suddenly an object falls noisily to the floor from a table or from a closet. Once a large book fell off the shelf with such a noise that it woke up all the sleepers in the house. They thought it was an earthquake.

This went on for a week. But suddenly a priest came to us. He spent the night at our house, and that night, too, interesting events took place: books fell, lights turned on…

I asked in the morning if the priest had heard anything at night. He said that he not only heard, but also saw a shadow passing along the corridor from one room to another.

The priest prayed, and then said: "Remember, has anyone died in the next two weeks?" I remembered that my friend the Herbalist was recently buried.
