Luda Moskaleva was the head of a group of employees of Petrozavodsk household enterprises who were in the village of Mansil on agricultural work. (The list of the group is attached) .

On August 23, at about 2:40 a.m., I began to observe an unusual phenomenon in the northeastern part of the sky from the window of the room. Then I decided to draw the trace left in the sky, and at the end of the sketch I looked at the chats - it was 3 a.m.

Additional clarifications on the drawing and the circumstances of the observation were reported in a conversation with Luda Moskaleva on October 5, 1978. She began to observe through the window after the guys (from the same group, but does not remember the last name) woke everyone up and drew attention to the sky. At this moment, objects A and B were observed, and a ray stretched from A to B (Fig. 2).

Initially, object A was blurred and had the size of the Moon. Then a ray stretched from object B into the sky and down. Then I noticed a bright point C (obviously, like a bright layer), from which the rays went up and down. There was a feeling that these rays had closed in an oval. But they didn't lock themselves in. After that, point D (the same as) flared up.

Rays came from it, which closed in an oval. At the same time, object A became more sharply outlined, object B blended to the right. The displacement of object B was noticed by the trees: - in front of the window there was a pine tree at a distance of a little more than 10 meters. By the time of drawing, object B approached the crown of a pine tree (in projection) and was smaller than the crown in angular dimensions, having traveled a distance (angular) of the order of the crown.

Other details depicted in the drawing do not remember how they appeared, and perhaps did not see them, since she painted without leaving the room.

During the conversation, she confidently pointed out that at the beginning of the observations, two stars were visible above object A (Fig.3-a), which at the end of the observation (Fig.3-b) turned out to be offset relative to A, because the trace was obviously rising.
