In 1982, at the end of April, at about 2 a.m., we were walking home from the Leningrad-Kuibyshev train. We decided that maybe it was a spotlight shining from a tower crane, but there was no construction anywhere in this area of the city. As we approached our house, the beam lifted off the ground and turned into an elongated cloud. There was no wind outside, but the cloud was moving towards the Volga River at an altitude of about 800 meters, the length of the cloud was about 30 meters. It was also greenish-blue in color, during the movement the cloud constantly swayed, and when it was over the Volga River, it began to change its shape and it had a tail behind it, like a comet.
