One summer in 1982 (when I was serving in the SA in Volokhov, Leningrad region) I went outside at night. The sky was clear, the stars were very clearly visible. only in the east, at an angle of 45 degrees (it was very difficult to determine the distance, because what I saw was in space), there was some kind of vague green spot in the sky, around which, with a radius equal to 5 diameters of this spot, there was a circle (glowing, like a ring that is usually drawn above the heads of the divine heroes on the icons).
Ch called the guys-colleagues and we all admired this sight, joked that it was possible that these were Martians.
