The testimony of an eyewitness to an abnormal phenomenon.
In late February - early March, in Rybatsky, a woman at home washed clothes at night in the area of 1h.-1h.30m. The linen was immediately taken out to the loggia and hung up. Suddenly I noticed that the room was illuminated by light from the street.
She went out onto the loggia and saw an ellipse, bright as the sun, hanging right in the air, measuring 2 by 3 m. The woman woke up her adult daughter and they both watched
a glowing orange-red UFO.
It hung at a height of 4 floors and at a distance of about 30 meters for a long time (several minutes). At the same time, everything was clearly visible on the ground. After a while, the UFO flew sharply to the side and then up from the observers.
This information was obtained by interviewing two women working at the Nevsky Lenin Factory, where one of the eyewitnesses (daughter) works.
The residents refused to give their address for questioning or write witness statements. In this regard, the reported data need to be confirmed by other persons, but they fit into the intensive reports of other persons about the February UFO visit to Leningrad and the region.

For UFOs often take stages of rockets, parts of space ships burning in the atmosphere, the launches of various missile technology for military purposes, etc., and traces from them. They attract attention mostly in the dark, but in the day time have a greater aura of mystery.
Formation of the track of the launch vehicle occurs in the tropopause (the layer between the troposphere and stratosphere), which sharply reduced the vertical temperature gradient. The emergence of the so-called "jellyfish" influenced by water vapor, which are subject to enhanced condensation.
