The story of an eyewitness from Petrozavodsk Fedotova A.V.
On September 20, 1977, at 8:30 a.m., we went out of town on bicycles. Antonina Vasilyevna and her son Nikolai (21 years old). They went to pick cranberries on the way to Moose Lake. The road after the city went through the forest to a place about 8 km away. It seemed to them that it was hard to drive. The road is paved, and it felt like we were driving in a mountain. very slowly. They walked around, looked at lingonberries (without bicycles). The rough road in the swamp was not depressing. It turned out to be hard to go back even downhill. There are only 1.5 km of roads in the city and up to 8 km outside the city. There was no desire to speed up traffic in the city, and what was found outside the city was not very noticeable. We arrived home at about 15 o'clock.
During the Petrozavodsk phenomenon itself, A.V. slept. And the wind was uneven, not all the time. He did not obstruct the movement.
Then Kolya and Natasha (23 years old) went for 2-3 days and also felt the heaviness. And a week later, he and his mother went there to get cranberries, and everything was easy on the same road on the same bicycles. The acceleration was light, the pedals turned easily. It was as if something had been held in the environment for several days and passed.
I was curiously expecting any consequences, but there were none. And my daughter's, too.
I didn't notice the delay in time.
There were no other cars. We were moving along the highway along the Salmon river.
