The incident occurred at night in the town of Rudny, Kostanay region.
At about four in the morning, Irina R. suddenly woke up from an inexplicable anxiety. She went to her little daughter's bedside. Irina tells us:
"Looking back, I noticed a glowing ball the size of an apple in the upper corner of the balcony door. A bright yellow ray with a greenish tinge was coming into the room from him. Instinctively covering her daughter with a blanket from this ray, the woman immediately heard a strong noise in her ears, felt a sharp headache - and lost consciousness.
About an hour later, when I came to my senses and stood up, I felt pain, as if from a burn. There was a mark about two centimeters wide and slightly less than a palm long in the lower abdomen.
The dermatologist defined the burn as "penetrating", excluding from possible causes the touch of a red-hot object or a blow."
