It happened on May 14, 1982 at night at 12:45. My brother and I came from a party. Before going home, we decided to talk a little among ourselves. It was a sparkling spot, much larger than the stars, and much smaller than the moon. Behind this spot, a cone was visible, which was rapidly expanding behind it. It seemed to be smoke, although it had clear boundaries.

Later, it dissipated a little. It left the impression that they were approaching us at great speed, being very far away from us.

The night was very clear and it seemed that the sun was shining on this cloud. My brother believed that they were coming straight at us, although it was noticeable that they were leaning slightly to the left.

We observed this phenomenon for about 5 minutes, after which we went home to share our impressions with our wives. There was a maximum of half a minute in the room. When we came back to the courtyard, the picture in the sky changed. These spots were no longer visible, instead there was a dispersed cloud, but soon a luminous spot appeared again in the upper part of the cloud. Fiery streams were sent from the spot in three directions. These receding spots were visible for another 5 minutes. Then they weakened so much that it was difficult to distinguish. The cone no longer appeared behind him and he himself dissipated slowly, being visible for a long time.

When the spot was noticed, it was 12:45, and when it disappeared, it was 12:55. It seemed amazing that it could turn back so sharply at an angle.

This phenomenon was also seen by my older brother (who came to our village), being at home in the Rakveros district at the Royle state farm. The name of Elmend's older brother is Yuri Alekseevich.

I also remembered that at around 10 o'clock the previous evening, the USSR launched a spacecraft into orbit.
