It would be possible to observe interference at other wavelengths, in particular on VHF - in the operation of a TV or other electrical appliances. Although observers tried to check this in Varzyn, there is an observation from Poznan, where on July 3, 1982, there was interference in the operation of the TV in many areas of the city. Interference similar to those described in previous cases was apparently caused this time by a highly luminous object moving over the city.

That day in the evening it was also very hot - Odona Miserova described - she was sitting very tired and watching a movie. A few minutes after 20-00, interference appeared on the TV, consisting of several tens of seconds of image disappearance. While waiting for the screensaver to appear with information about technical problems, I was alarmed - whether these interferences indicate a malfunction of the TV. Instead, at about 21-30, horizontal stripes began to appear on the screen from the right to the left against the background of a normal image. Later, the image went out and only white stripes about 3 cm long appeared on the dark screen. 5-7 identical stripes at a distance of 1-2 cm from the edge of the screen and disappeared after a while (several minutes).

In this position, at about 22-00, I turned off the receiver.

Perhaps these disturbances were related to a brightly glowing object seen around 22-30 in the east. The intensity of the glow was such that I saw him lying down with my eyes closed. I ran to the window and made sure that an object much larger than the Moon was hanging against the background of the dark sky, pulsating with crimson color.

I watched him for about 1 minute when he suddenly moved from his place and began to move in a southerly direction. It continued to pulse and suddenly changed the direction of flight by 90 degrees and disappeared (went out).
