The man believes that he may have discovered the footprints of a bigfoot while walking along a "remote trail."
Aaron Thiel posted photos of the footprints to the Bigfoot Believers Facebook group, detailing how he came across them near Lexington in Kentucky, USA.
Aaron noted that he was particularly careful about the trail under his feet, as the trail was about two miles long and "very muddy." Moreover, he did not see any other tourists and reported:
"It was raining all the time."
Towards the end of his journey, he said he noticed one "strange" footprint and decided to photograph it. Aaron then moved on and discovered "more fully formed humanoid footprints."
"It was dirty there, and you definitely couldn't walk barefoot on this trail," Aaron wrote. He called the footprints "fresh" and said they were imprinted into the mud much deeper than the footprints of his shoes, even though he weighs 300 pounds (136 kg).
He showed the size of his shoe (12 in the US, 11 in the UK) next to the prints in some of the photos. They looked about the same size. Although he admitted that the tracks were quite "small" for a bigfoot, the "very strange" circumstances of their discovery still aroused his suspicions.

Aaron noted that he was particularly observant of the path underfoot since the trail, spanning roughly two miles, was "super muddy". Furthermore, he didn't see any other hikers and reported: "It was raining the whole time."
Towards his journey's end, he said he spotted one "weird" footprint and decided to take a photo. Aaron then pushed on and found "more fully formed humanoid footprints".
"It was muddy and definitely not a path to walk barefoot on," Aaron wrote. He described the tracks as "fresh" and said they were imprinted much further into the mud than his shoe tracks, even though he weighs 300lbs (136kg).
