From a distance, it now resembled an electric arc, and it was noticeable that its intensity was unstable (pulsating). A minute later, the object rose into the sky. at the place of its landing, a trail was found in the form of snow frozen into dark green ice. the trail was triangular in shape, with sides 370 cm long and a base 230 cm long. The top of the triangle was "cut off", forming a fourth column with a length of about 50 mi. The snow in this place was about 40 cm deep. On the surface of the snow there was a layer of green brittle ice about 3 cm thick, in the form of vertical needles.

There was a layer of clear, solid ice about 1.5 cm thick at the bottom.

The researchers calculated that by remaining stationary for 1 minute, the object melted enough snow to form 300 liters of water, which then froze. The dark green material, which then took on a dark gray-blue color, had a greater concentration in the center of the site than at its edges. Samples of gray-blue ice were transferred to the University of Oulu and to the Tippy Oi Laboratory. Private researchers also received samples. The results are not yet known.
