1966, North Atlantic, Deep Freeze maneuvers of the U.S. Navy, Dr. Rubens J. Villela.

He was on deck. Suddenly, something appeared out of the water, breaking through the 3-meter ice, and disappeared into the sky like a huge silver bullet.

The helmsman and the officer of the watch were also seen. However, they managed to notice only blocks of ice thrown high into the air, boiling water in a polynya, clouds of steam.
