Flash Gordon – the 1936 movie production Universal studios, loosely based on the comic books by Alex Raymond. He was the first sci-Fi series, and also one of the first in the history of American and world cinema films in the genre of space fiction, in which aliens appear.

Scientists determined that the planet Mongo will soon collide with the Earth. Flash Gordon flies to his father to meet death along with him, but due to the approximation of the planet's plane crashes and he and Dale Arden jump from it with parachute. On earth they meet Dr. Alexis Zarkova, who invites them to fly with him on a spaceship to the planet Mongo.
