"I Married a Monster from Outer Space" (English: "I Married a Monster from Outer Space") is an American science fiction horror film released in 1958.

The plot of the film tells about a young woman named Marge, who begins to realize that her husband Bill is not the man he was before the wedding. He has lost his affection for her and does not have warm feelings for the dog she gave him. She soon discovers that he is not the only man in town who has changed. One evening, she follows him unnoticed when he goes out for a walk, and discovers that her husband is actually an alien.

In the end, he explains that all the women on his planet are extinct. The males of his species are doing everything possible to get the opportunity to have offspring from terrestrial women and save their race from extinction. Marge is horrified by this prospect and tries to warn the townspeople about the alien conspiracy, but too many men have already been captured, including the police chief, who does not take any action after hearing her story. She tries to call Washington, but all outgoing phone lines are busy. Marge tries to leave town by car, but the local police stop her on the pretext that the road out of town is blurred.

Finally, Marge's doctor believes in her wild story and gathers a squad of people who cannot be disguised aliens. They attack the aliens hiding on a spaceship hidden in the forest and free the prisoners.

Shortly before death, an alien occupying the body of the chief of police transmits a message to other ships in orbit that their conspiracy has been uncovered. After that, the fleet of alien spaceships leaves near-Earth space. Now they have to look for female humanoids somewhere in another corner of the universe.

Phenomena in artwork: UFO

Aliens arrive on Earth on alien ships similar to classic flying saucers. Inside, they are practically empty and do not contain any interior elements, except for the bodies of abducted earthlings hanging from the ceiling, connected to special transmitting devices.

Phenomena in artwork: The Alien

Aliens arrive on earth from a destroyed planet in the constellation Andromeda. Their females died due to the instability of the star, and they are trying to find a way to continue their kind by crossing with terrestrial females. Aliens in the bodies of clones of terrestrial men are not able to have children, but their doctors are actively working to solve the problem.

The aliens look like humanoid monsters with tentacles on their faces. Their bodies look heavy and glow, they have three fingers on their hands.

Aliens kidnap Earth men, enveloping them in black smoke, and connect them to special devices on a spaceship. These devices are designed to extract and transmit information about the appearance, character and memories of earthlings. The aliens create clones of the abducted men and inhabit them, and the data obtained in real time about the memories of earthlings allow them to deceive people for a long time.

Usually, aliens do not experience emotions; their communication with females on their home planet occurred only to the extent necessary to create offspring. However, having moved into clones of earthlings and receiving their memories, they begin to feel affection for their fictitious wives.

Alien-controlled clones do not drink alcohol, but smoke. They are able to communicate telepathically with each other. Their bodies do not take bullets, but the alien dies if he inhales concentrated oxygen or if the abducted person is suddenly disconnected from the apparatus in the spaceship. Dying, the clone's body turns into a bubbling jelly-like liquid.

An alien in its true form also cannot be killed by a bullet from a pistol, but they are afraid of ordinary dogs. If the dog bites off one of the tentacles on the alien's head, he dies. The aliens are armed with ray guns that melt everything they aim at.
