Dr. Douglas Martin is a nuclear scientist working on atomic bomb tests. While collecting data on the USAF atomic explosion at Soledad Flats, he loses control of his plane and crashes. Dr. Martin survives and returns unharmed to the airbase, not remembering what happened. A strange scar is found on his chest, which was not there before the accident.
At the hospital, Martin behaves so strangely that the US Air Force enlists the FBI to investigate, suspecting that the doctor may be an impostor. Martin is protesting against being excluded from his own project during a forced vacation.
When the next nuclear tests begin without his knowledge, Martin steals the data on their results, and then returns to Soledad Flats and hides a note with secret information under a rock in the desert. An FBI agent catches him red-handed and begins a pursuit. Martin crashes his car in an attempt to escape and ends up in the hospital again. There he is given a truth serum, and under the influence of the drug, Martin tells that he was held captive in an underground base by aliens from outer space led by Denab. Aliens with big bulging eyes arrived from the planet Astron Delta, which is controlled by a creature named Tala. They found his body after the plane crash and revived him.
The aliens plan to destroy humanity using giant insects and reptiles grown with the help of radioactive radiation formed as a result of nuclear tests. In the course of communicating with Denab, Martin realizes that the aliens are using the electrical energy of the city to control their equipment. They erase his memory and hypnotize him, trying to force him to collect and transmit the necessary data to them.
The FBI agent and the base commander are skeptical about this incredible story and are going to keep Martin in the hospital. However, the attending physician says that Martin sincerely believes in what he is telling.
After making calculations, Martin determines that if he turns off the Soledad Flats power plant for just 10 seconds, it will create an overload in the alien equipment. He escapes from the hospital and goes to the power plant, where he forces the technician to turn off the power. After 10 seconds, the alien base explodes and Dr. Martin saves the Earth from conquest.
Phenomena in artwork: The Alien
The aliens in the film look human, except for the bulging eyes. According to the explanation of the aliens themselves so they acquired due to the fact that their star began to fade and they didn't have enough light. What fading star forced them to first enslave the neighboring (closest to the sun) planet, and then embark on a cosmic journey to conquer the Land.
The level of technology the aliens is much higher than the earth. They collect the energy released by nuclear explosions, and send it to the modification of the organisms to create its own army of monsters. They are able to revive dead people, to block their memories and control behavior.

Phenomena in artwork: UFO
The film demonstrates several types of flying objects aliens.
The first form is a glowing sphere, the brightness of which is changed periodically. However, frames from the movie have failed to understand whether this object is flying or on the surface of the earth.
The second is the spacecraft that shows Dr. Martin the head of the aliens. They look like classic flying saucers. According to the aliens, the ships are provided with the means of camouflage used by humans air defenses, however, some of these plates were still seen by people.
The last type of flying objects are orbiting alien bases that also show Martin from the screen. From these bases the aliens intend to invade the Earth after its population will perish.
