The fifth episode of the series is called "Normal Night".
Minogue and O'Leary are faced with a number of incidents that are mistaken by ordinary people for manifestations of the paranormal – in particular, with a plastic bag mistaken for a ghost. Sergeant Maaka believes that this is a ghost that has taken the form of a package.
The police are investigating the case of missing blood in the hospital. The head of the blood bank turns out to be a vampire, but he gives the police a hard time, and they drop all charges against him. Later, they meet him at the head of a cult, whose members in hooded suits are conducting some kind of ritual with chants around a naked man tied to a pole. The man, on whom the vampire is also causing trouble, claims that everything is fine with him, and the police leave.
Arriving on a call to the cemetery, they meet the same vampire who is now delivering blood in thermos bags. The vampire is detained, but on the way to the police station, he again causes trouble for the police. As a result, they believe that the day was completely calm and unremarkable.
Sergeant Maaka, who works in the office, is attacked by a package that actually turns out to be a ghost.

In this series we again meet with the vampires who were the protagonists of the film "Real vampires" (original title "What We Do in the Shadows"). We show the "young vampire," nick, who found a job in a hospital and earns the delivery of blood to the other vampires.

The Ghost turns out to be a package, flying in the courtyard of a house in Wellington and adopted by the local Ghost. As explained by Sergeant Maak, actually it may be a Japanese Youkai spirit, taking the form of a package. Sarge is right, and after some time the package is selected from the wardrobe for clues to attack the police. During the attack on the pack you can see the ugly likeness of a human face.
