The Black Sea has turned into a "light foam"

Residents of the Crimean city of Yevpatoria witnessed the strange coloring of the Black Sea. On the video taken off the coast, instead of the usual water, it seems that spilled beer with snow-white foam is splashing.

Some were alarmed by what they saw, thinking that the sea had been repainted due to the release of chemicals. But environmentalists reassured citizens and tourists, explaining that the observed phenomenon is exclusively natural. The fact is that in this area there is not only sand, but also silt and clay. When the sea storms in winter, the mixture rises from the bottom and can give the water a similar shade.

In comments on the Internet, users noted that the environmental problems of the region that really require attention include pollution of the coast with garbage, construction on the territory of beaches and their reduction as a result of sand washing. It was also noticed that the video was probably processed, because in reality the golden color is less bright.
