A group of scientists claims to have discovered a special light wave that can penetrate directly through objects. This gives the impression that the objects are completely invisible, transmits Independent.

A person sees only what reflects light and is perceived by photoreceptors. The Austrian Technical University and the University of Utrecht claim to have developed a technology based on a special light wave. Passing through something, it can make the object invisible not only to the eye, but also to the camera.

Scientists have been working on various forms of invisibility technology for years. They usually try to find ways to deflect or scatter light around an object, hiding it from view. However, this approach is slightly different.

According to Stefan Rotter, one of the co-authors of the project, the benefits of the resulting light wave are potentially great for medicine and science, as it will allow you to "look" into such complex structures as tissues and cells. Medical imaging can significantly benefit if the technology gets intensive development in the near future and is adapted to the needs of healthcare.
