In particular, Jonty hunter, Professor of astrophysics from the University of southern Queensland, told ABC that the object can be identified as space debris because of its low speed.
"Low speed, about 6 kilometers per second, is a very significant sign that it was space junk entering the atmosphere," he said. Astronomical society of Victoria said the object is the third stage of the rocket used to launch a Russian satellite.
