It's all about dust storms in the South of Russia, forest fires in the Voronezh region and a strong South-Eastern transfer. A strong South-easterly wind brought dust to the West of the Chernozem region, picked up smoke from forest fires there and transferred all this to Belarus.
Weather stations note the haze, local residents – an unusual color of the sky, the smell of burning and the taste of dust.
