Dutch pilot van Heist Christian often puts photos of fascinating views from the cockpit of his civil airliner. But this time he managed to make truly unique images: right before his plane explosion of Chinese ballistic missiles fired during the tests! Although as a pilot, he probably experienced a few unpleasant moments: come know how to behave in the air weapons of tremendous power!

34-year-old Dutch pilot van Heist Christiaan managed to photograph the launch of a ballistic missile system Chinese missile defence. As stated by the affected pilot, "such a spectacle can only be seen once in a lifetime". Van Heist - civil pilot, flying on airplanes "Boeing-747". He likes to do shooting from the cabin Windows, but the spectacle that opened before him during a routine flight from Hong Kong to Baku, he previously had not seen.

It happened when the plane flew over the Himalayas. When there was an explosion, the plane was at an altitude of about 10 thousand meters. The missile was fired from a closed no-fly zone North of the route.

"Suddenly on the horizon appeared a bright spot, the height and size of which increased rapidly, - says Kristiaan. - At first, it resembled a balloon or a cloud of unusual shape, but then I realized that it is condensation trail released to air missiles. Earlier many times I have seen these marks on photos and videos, so the characteristic features quickly identified him."

According to van Heist, at the time his plane was close enough to the launch site to see this rare sight.

"About a minute after the appearance of the "balloon" started as if to suhat at the top, and on the first contrail a second, says the pilot. - I realized that watching the second stage of a rocket launch, and it confirmed my thought that we have witnessed testing of some powerful weapons."

"We knew that the North and South of our route are the zone closed for flights, says van heyst. - But the details are not reported, so the launch was a complete surprise. The sky in the area of our flight was open, and the controllers did not give us warning."

"Later I learned that it was a missile test system Chinese missile defense, whose main task - to shoot down ballistic missiles in the air," said the pilot.

As it turned out, van Heist, the missile was released from the restricted area to the North of its route, and its debris were to fall in the second restricted area, to the South of the flight trajectory.

"The missile passed directly over us at very high altitudes, says the pilot. - As far as I know, we were almost the only plane turned at that moment in the test area. Such a sight can only be seen once in your life!"
