On August 28, residents published shocking photos of a local pond located near the village of Ternovka in the Voronezh region. The water in it for unknown reasons has acquired a blood-red color.

Eyewitnesses suggested that ground water got into the drainage channel. This, in turn, led to the starvation of fish.
