A video has appeared on YouTube in which a festive Christmas tree equipped with a rocket engine takes off at more than 90 m.

Enthusiastic engineers equipped the tree with a four-wing structure and a homemade solid-fuel power unit, and then launched the Christmas tree from the expanses of the Mojave Desert.

According to one of the authors of the idea Joe Barnard, the problem is that rocket technology requires very precise calculations, and amateur technology does not always work as planned. Therefore, the successful launch took place only on the fourth attempt. The Christmas tree decorated with LEDs soared into the air, and the resulting video immediately began to gain popularity on the web.
