Employees of the Virtual Telescope Project, which is based in Italy, published the first image of the second stage of the Chinese rocket "Changzheng-5" (Long March 5B). In the photo taken on May 6, it looks like a bright spot. The telescope was able to track the object, although the Sun was located a few degrees below the horizon, the sky was bright.

Earlier, experts suggested that the rocket stage will enter the atmosphere on May 8 or 9, but the place where the unburned debris will fall, it is not yet possible to specify exactly.

The rocket was launched on April 29, the launch itself was normal, but later the specialists lost control over it. The rocket weighs 18 tons, its length reaches 30 m.

The speed of the "lost" stage is 6.4 km / s, it makes a revolution around the Earth in less than 2 hours.

Specialists of Roscosmos also published a photo of the object and a map of the possible site of the step fall.
