Pacu are freshwater fish that live in South America and are relatives of piranhas. They have earned fame for their teeth, which are very similar to human teeth.
Pacs can become giants if they are given enough space and resources. They can grow up to one meter in length and weigh up to 20 kilograms. Some people think that pakus are dangerous, but in fact they are herbivorous fish. There is only one known incident when a fish bit a man. This happened in 2001 in Papua New Guinea.
Paku teeth have evolved to crush fruit seeds and evolutionarily have little in common with human teeth. With age, Paku's teeth become more pronounced, and they even form a layer of enamel, almost the same as ours.
