Camera traps installed in the national Park "Land of leopard" recorded two individuals of the red Goral, the rarest hoofed animal in the southwest of the Primorye region, reports TASS. Prior to this Goral got the lenses cameras only once — in 2017.

According to Park staff, the new data confirm that the region is home to several representatives of the species. In the past year the pictures have been discovered just one individual. This time for a few months, the cameras recorded two individuals is already known and one that differed in the shape of horns.

The Amur Goral belongs to the subfamily of goat and is the only bovids ungulates in the southern Far East. This is a very rare animal for Russia and for the world. In Primorye there are about 700-900 of Gorlov. Their total number is unknown.
