Initial data
Photos of unusual cloud formations with the reflection of the rainbow were made in the North-East of Scotland.
The photo was published in the Twitter account of BBC Scotland on Sunday night after Aberdeen had seen the spectacle and joined the followers.
One picture, taken in Riccarton, looked like something from a sci-Fi movie.
Presenter of the BBC Scotland weather Judith Ralston said it was a lenticular cloud. She added that rain or light snow above the atmosphere added a rainbow.
She said
"These clouds are mistaken for UFOs. This great pictures".
UFO researcher Scott C. Waring said:
Cloud UFO was seen in March 2017 over Scotland, and when it passed over the hill ... there was a bright thick rainbow linking earth with UFOs. I believe that UFOs, of course, radiated people and delivered them to the underground base is approximately 4-6 km below ground level. For 15 years, reporting a UFO I have never seen a UFO that created the rainbow. I saw them in the rainbow or around it, but this is the first.

Original news
Here is an older sighting that I had never seen before, so I will post it here. A UFO cloud was seen back in March of 2017 over Scotland and as it passed over a hill...a colorful thick rainbow appeared linking the ground to the UFO. I believe that the UFO was of course beaming people and supplies down to an underground base about 4-6km below the ground. An incredible once in a lifetime sighting. In my 15 years of reporting UFOs, I have never seen a UFO that created a rainbow. I have seen them in the rainbow or near it, but this is a first.

A photo was posted by BBC Scotland's North East Twitter account on Sunday evening after the sight was spotted in Aberdeen, and followers joined in.
One, taken at Rickarton, looked like something from a sci-fi film.
BBC Scotland weather presenter Judith Ralston said they were lens-shaped lenticular clouds.
She added that rain or light snow above the atmosphere would have added the rainbow reflections.
She said: "There are some lovely colours. Lenticular clouds can be mistaken for UFOs. These are great pictures."
One response to Trish Macfarlane's image on Twitter taken at Rickarton, from Althea Tindell, said: "UFO or not those pics are fantastic!"
