Location:
Трейси, QC

The 4 girls, aged 14-24, were traveling from Tracy to Montreal, accompanied by a glowing white ball, perhaps the size of a watermelon, that sometimes went in front of them and sometimes behind them for a considerable distance.

They passed through a cloud of red dust that obscured their view. Shortly after they got out of the area, they had to swerve to avoid a man in dark clothing and wearing a helmet who was standing on a white strip in the middle of the road and was apparently sweeping it with a brush.

He was short, so they couldn't see his face. After passing the "janitor", they saw a car and 3 people in dark clothes by the road. That same evening, there were many UFO sightings in this area of Quebec.

__________________________

These are two cases of CE3 [Humanoid] included in the large wave of UFO cases in Quebec, which peaked in November 1973.

The case in Tracy began when four women [aged 24 to 14] were driving from the city towards Montreal. Soon they noticed a glowing ball ahead. It flew over the St. Lawrence river to the right of the road.

It shimmered with a yellowish-white hue. The ball seemed to be pulsing: now it was bigger and shining; now it was smaller and not glowing. Then it seemed to follow their car. It would approach when the countryside was less populated (further, it was built up). Its height varied, but it was often at the height of a telephone pole. Clearly, this scared the hell out of the witnesses.

At some point, a car overtook them at high speed. The UFO took off at a high altitude, then descended and hovered over a roadside field. Suddenly they were in traffic.

Oddly enough, cars had to enter and pass through the "pink cloud" that lay across the road. The length of the cloud was about four cars running in a row. This strange thing so impressed the girls that they essentially forgot about the UFO parked in a roadside field. In the cloud, "everything was very quiet."

They passed without any apparent incident, and the driver accelerated again [to 40 mph]. then, almost immediately, she had to brake again as a "fast car" that had passed them some time ago crashed in a ditch.

After passing this last point of congestion, she accelerated, and immediately hit the brakes again, so as not to hit the speeding "man"on the road.

This little man was thin, no more than 5 feet (1.5 m) tall. He was wearing dark clothing and a cap "that could hide his face." The tool he used gave the impression that he was "cleaning" the road.

The young girls never looked at a UFO in the field again on the way to Montreal, but said that on the way back, the pink cloud was still there.

 Comment [Michael Sords]:

in this case, it can be less or more. Excited girls could overestimate a traffic accident and roadside flares, as well as a few careless cleaners. Or it might be as weird as they felt.

In any case, this element of the case does not detract from the long and detailed "Stalker" aspect. This event was the first of a series of UFO encounters in the area that evening.

At least 11 more collisions with glowing ovals or balls were reported in the area before 1 a.m.

4 girls 14-24 year old were accompanied as they drove from Tracy toward Montreal by a luminous white ball perhaps the size of a watermelon, which was sometimes ahead of them and sometimes behind them, at a considerable distance. They passed through a cloud of red dust that obscured their vision; shortly after emerging from this, they had to swerve to avoid a man wearing dark clothing and a lappet helmet, who was standing on the white line in the middle of the road, apparently sweeping it with a brush-room. He was short of stature; they could not see his face. After passing the “sweeper” they saw a car and 3 dark clad people beside the road. There were many UFO sightings in this region of Quebec that same evening.

6:00 PM. These are two CE3 [Humanoid] cases embedded in the big Quebec wave of UFO cases that peaked in November 1973. [readers can refer to the October St. Mathias-de-Chambly CE3 listed earlier for another example of this wave]. The Tracy event began when four women [ages 24 to 14] drove out of town toward Montreal. Shortly, they noticed a luminous ball ahead of them. It flew over the St. Lawrence River just to the right of the road. It sparkled with a yellowish-white tint. The ball seemed to pulse: now larger and shining; now smaller and non-luminous. It then seemed to follow their car. It would come nearer when the countryside was less populated; further when it was built-up. Its altitude changed but it was often at telephone pole height. This was understandably scaring the heck out of the witnesses. At one point they were passed by a car at great speed. The UFO went to great height at that event. The UFO descended and hovered over a roadside field. All of a sudden they entered slow-moving traffic. Weirdly, the cars had to enter into and pass through a “pink cloud” which was lying across the road. The cloud’s length was about the distance of four cars back-to-back. At this odd thing, the girls were so astonished they essentially forgot the UFO parked in the roadside field. Within the cloud “everything was very quiet and silent”. They drove through without any apparent incident, and the driver accelerated back up [to about 40mph]. Then, almost immediately, she had to brake again as the “fast car” that had passed them awhile ago was wrecked in the ditch. Passing this latest congestion point, she sped up , and immediately slammed on the brakes again to avoid hitting a “little man” sweeping in the road. This little man was slim and 5 feet or less tall. He wore dark clothing and a cap “that could hide his face”. The tool that he was using gave the impression that he was “brushing” the road. The young ladies never looked at the UFO in the field again as they went on their way to Montreal, but said on the return journey the pink cloud was still there. Commentary: [Michael Swords] there may be less in this case or more. The excited girls could have overinterpreted a roadside accident and roadside flares, and a somewhat careless clean-up crewman. Or, it may be as weird as they felt. Either way, that element of the case does not diminish the lengthy and elaborate “stalker” aspect of the case. This event became the first of a series of UFO encounters in this area that very evening. At least 11 more encounters were recorded with luminous ovals or balls in the region prior to 1am.
