The temperature dropped from +31 to +20. But the desired coolness is neutralized by stuffiness. It feels even harder. In some places, heavy rains caused flooding. According to preliminary estimates, 10 to 20 mm of precipitation fell in the center in 40 minutes.

The anticyclone began to collapse a day ago. The first cumulonimbus clouds appeared over Moscow the day before. In some areas, there were small short-term rains.

On Thursday, July 15, the atmosphere became even more unstable. Huge volumes of heated air rushed up. A dusty vortex appeared in Mytishchi near Moscow — hot air rising up spiraled and lifted dust from the ground.

The tops of the storm cells have grown to 13 km, where the temperature is -51. As a result, hail fell in some areas of Moscow.

The same — unstable, but still hot, and now also stuffy-the weather will continue for another couple of days.
