Chupacabra. Kazakhstan

A chupacabra looked into Auliekole. Inexplicable events are taking place in the household of the Volkhin family from Auliekol.

On the morning of last Tuesday, going out to the farmyard, spouses Nikolai and Svetlana were numb with horror. The rabbit cages were overturned, the thick metal bars torn out. And there were 38 dead animals lying nearby with their paws torn off and deep wounds on their bodies. Since the Volkhins' house is located next to a lake overgrown with reeds, they thought: perhaps a ferret or a fox got into the courtyard?

They did not go anywhere, because the animals were not stolen, they were not taken away. Grieved. They collected the torn rabbit carcasses and took them out. Although the Volkhins did not find an answer to many questions. Well, for example, what kind of strength should the same fox have to tear out thick iron bars?!

Last Sunday, the horror was repeated.   The only remaining cage with young rabbits was torn apart. The animals had the same wounds! And in the yard, ducks with huge wounds on their backs were struggling in the last convulsions. The family decided to kill a live bird, pluck it, so as not to lose winter meat supplies at all.

Who could have inflicted such terrible wounds on ducks and rabbits?

We met Svetlana and her mother Galina Iosifovna on the same day. They were advised to contact the newspaper by their neighbors, since recently reports of similar cases in the southern Urals were broadcast on Russian television.   Even an experienced hunter friend, who left at our request as a consultant, was in turmoil.  The owners showed us a high gate, which is bolted at night. It was unlocked in the morning.  We were shown to the tightly closing latches on the doors of rabbit cages. How were they discovered? If a man was wielding, then how could he inflict such wounds on the backs of ducks, it looks like traces of either claws or fangs? "Perhaps it's a lynx or a reed cat," the hunter suggested.

But the Volkhins' house is almost the center of a large village. It is difficult to imagine that a lynx comes to hunt in a large village! And why does she not eat her victims, but only kills?  In addition, the usually noisy ducks did not scream, the guard mutt did not bark in the yard. In general, everyone decided, it all looks very much like the tricks of the notorious Chupacabra, whose bloodlust is now known not only in Spain, where she allegedly slaughtered farm goats. After that, similar cases were recorded in other countries.

The author asked  freeze the owners and save the duck carcass. Perhaps there will be a specialist in the field who can give explanations, at the same time determine whether it is possible to eat meat of a finished bird.
