Nordic aliens are described by some contactees and ufologists as human—like creatures similar to Europeans, or more precisely, to immigrants from countries Scandinavia.
Nords are often described as two-meter tall men and women with long blond hair and blue eyes. Their skin has a shade from pale pink to tanned, and they, as noted by witnesses, wear tight clothes.
In the 1950s, there were a lot of reports about this type of aliens, but in the future such information began to arrive much less frequently, as the greys displaced the Nords in the messages of contactees. But even now, from time to time, evidence of Nordic aliens slips in the ufo literature. The term "nords" was not widely used until the 1980s. Before that, this type of aliens was called "space brothers".
Some research organizations, such as UFO Contact Center International, consider the Pleiades star cluster to be the birthplace of the Nordic aliens.
Nords are described as benevolent or even "magical" creatures who want to observe Earth's civilization in a friendly way and communicate with people. The contactees noted that the Nords were concerned about environmental problems, global military and political tensions and could transmit thoughts telepathically. Nordic aliens are like caring fathers: they are alert, young, affectionate, polite, often smile and know everything, "are often associated with spiritual growth and love and act as a defender of the contactee."
Several contactees claimed that the Nordic aliens had warned about the Grays, but others said they had seen the Nords in the same spaceships as the Grays. In such messages, the Nords are often interpreted as leaders, and the grays are their subordinates. Jenny Randels writes that although she considers the Nords, of course, involved in kidnappings, but contact with them is less dangerous for a person than with the Greys
