Initial data
Kurdyukov Alexander writes to the editorial office of the newspaper "Anomaly":
I've been interested in ufology for almost a year now.
Of course, some scientists consider UFOs to be fiction, ridiculous rumors. However, I believe in the existence of the unidentified, and even once observed it myself.
It started a long time ago, about 3 years ago. I read Wells' The War of the Worlds. A thunderstorm broke out outside the window. The lightning flashed and the rain poured down without ceasing. By evening, the storm had subsided. I went out to the window, just like that, to look at the stars. and suddenly, completely silently, right in front of the window there was a short, hundredth of a second, flash.
She was dazzlingly bright, like the sun. She couldn't be lightning because:
1. Lightning does not happen in a cloudless sky.
2. Out of the corner of my eye, I managed to catch that the flash came from a brightly glowing ball.
As for the second, I have heard about fireballs, but they explode with a roar, bringing huge destruction.
After that, I watched these flashes several more times before going to bed.

The storm
The storm is an atmospheric phenomenon in which the inside of clouds or between the cloud and the earth's surface arise electrical discharges - lightning accompanied by thunder. It is quite a common natural phenomenon in certain situations could be considered something abnormal, such as when it appears under unusual conditions or unfamiliar to the eyewitness. A vivid example is the so-called "snow storm" (or "snow storm"), i.e. thunderstorm, which is when rain falls heavy snow, freezing rain or ice pellets.
