The first mention of this bridge dates back to 1768. In just a century and a half, there were 4 reconstructions on the site of the wooden crossing from the left bank to the right. The wooden bridge built on the site of the drained marshes and Chernavy Meadow was replaced by a concrete one, the concrete ones were destroyed during the war and after the creation of the Voronezh reservoir, the last reconstruction of which lasted 19 years (from 1990 to 2009).
Near the Chernavsky Bridge in the period from 1993 to 1998, at the beginning of winter, fishermen noticed bright flashes like the northern lights over the reservoir, but the fire pillars had an obvious graphic outline in the form of two letters "X.3. " Now UFOs are sometimes seen in this place.

Additional information
Each of the band members who lived or stayed in Voronezh were on this bridge. In winter, an atmospheric phenomenon in the form of ice needles was indeed observed over the shores, flying balloons (balloons, sky lanterns), as well as helicopters and airplanes (including small ones) are often visible.
Interestingly, according to the stories of local residents in the 80s, near the Chernavsky Bridge there was one of the entrances to the famous Voronezh catacombs, which, according to legend, once connected monasteries to escape in case of an attack on the city, in the XX century.
Few people know where the entrances to these catacombs are, but in almost every courtyard you can meet a person who once was in them or knew someone who was.
Locals say that strange sounds and even moans are often heard in the catacombs, sometimes frightening shadows were seen on the walls. It is believed that they are inhabited by many ghosts (probably even guarding treasures). The most famous is the ghost of a monk.
