The path of the Sun across the sky during the year is called the analemma.
The apparent displacement of the Sun caused by the motion of the Earth in orbit around it in combination with the inclined position of the axis of rotation of the Earth. The sun appears at the highest point of the analemma during summer and lowest in winter.
Analemma is slightly different depending on the latitude of observation on the Earth's surface. Analemma will also vary depending on at what point are held daily observations. The analemma, shown, was built at the solar pictures for the year.
