The Golubev family was the first to suffer. On the night of July 23, the beast destroyed 95 chickens from them.

— This beast tore the metal mesh and made its way to the chickens, only one managed to survive, although it also bit her.  I was sorry to cut her down, I left her, gave her a squash, some water. I closed the place where this animal crawled with an iron sheet, so it tore the mesh in another place, got to the chicken and dragged it away. I can assume that a large dog could have torn the mesh. But what struck me was that several chickens were torn to shreds, and there was almost no blood. And there was no blood on the other chickens at the site of the bites, as if someone had soaked the wounds.

The next night, July 24, the beast made its way into two neighboring yards at once. At 79-year-old Alexandra Pechkurova, he destroyed 45 chickens.

— I came in this morning, saw that they were all lying, so I almost died myself.  I bought chickens for 90 rubles, raised them, and now there is no one left. Only a few laying hens survived, which were closed in the barn and propped up with a shovel. Now new chickens have been taken. We take care of them, my son-in-law boarded up everything for me, and somewhere even made a double grid. Maybe we'll have time to grow it before winter.

On the same night, the beast killed 55 chickens at Alexandra's neighbor. Their owner Elena Ovcharova protects the remaining two chickens, who escaped by hiding from the beast, and the newly purchased chickens as the apple of her eye.

— We live like in a war. Everyone gets up at six in the morning, we go to bed after midnight, we close the chickens so that it is impossible to get to them.  I put a barrel with an iron basin near the barn at night. If she climbs, maybe rattles, I'll run out, at least catch her. I'm not scared anymore. And the neighbors, who have chickens, sit with the light, watch at night.

Elena Ovcharova says that a few days ago she saw a very strange dog. She describes her like this: long, thin, with big ears.

— I came to clean the chickens, I see a dog in the garden under tomatoes, she looked at me, her muzzle is so elongated, her fur is short, dark brown and all shiny, she didn't see the paws. In general, I have never seen such dogs before. I was afraid for Baba Shura, suddenly her chickens were attacked again, I ran to her.

In addition to Ovcharova, another resident Evdokia Uvarova saw a strange dog. In addition to the long muzzle, large ears and shiny fur, she also noticed that she had large teats, as if she had recently foaled.

There were several nights of calm after this attack. And on July 29, the beast destroyed Elena Konchagina's chickens. As she said, on the next street, this incomprehensible dog strangled 60 more geese that night.

— My daughter is half a year old, so I'm a light sleeper at night and heard how my chickens were attacked. It all started at 1:24, there were such knocks, as if someone was hammering on the barn with his fist. And everything went quiet after three minutes. I was afraid to go out, my husband is on a business trip. In the morning I found eight chickens dead, only one survived, although there were also traces of fangs on her.
