A man living in Madrid, New Mexico, has posted a series of photos depicting what he believes is a mysterious "flying snake."
Clay Scheff, the manager of the 55-year-old ranch, told the Cryptozoology News website that he was checking the images captured by his surveillance cameras when he discovered something strange that looked like a long rod

Un homme qui vit à Madrid, dans l’État du Nouveau-Mexique, a publié une série de photographies représentant ce qu'il pense être un mystérieux « serpent volant ».
Clay Sheff, gestionnaire d’un ranch pour chevaux âgé de 55 ans, a raconté au site Internet Cryptozoology News qu’il vérifiait les images prises par ses caméras de surveillance qu’il avait installées au ranch quand il a trouvé quelque chose d’étrange.
« Je vérifie les caméras de vidéosurveillance tous les deux ou trois jours, juste pour voir quel genre de faune nous rend visite », a déclaré Sheff.
Les trois photographies, qui semblaient ne pas avoir été trafiquées, montrent une créature non identifiée volant devant l’objectif de la caméra.
« Il semble que ce pourrait être un épis de maïs ou un serpent royal », a-t-il déclaré en parlant de ces photos, qui auraient été prises en 2012.
« Je ne sais pas quoi en faire », a déclaré Sheff. « C'est un mystère étrange et inexpliqué. »
Les photographies rappellent le phénomène des rods volants, très populaire dans les années 1990 et au début des années 2000, et que les experts ont déterminé plus tard comme étant des insectes volant à différentes vitesses, créant ainsi des formes et des effets optiques différents.
Pour les croyants, les rods sont des animaux cylindriques se déplaçant si vite qu’ils sont invisibles à l’œil nu. Ils sont parfois considérés comme étant des extraterrestres ou comme des animaux encore inconnus.

Most often this artifact is called skayfish if the lens gets a passing bird or insect. It is based on the discrepancy between the speed of the video and the frequency of the flapping of insect wings. Essentially, each video drops a few strokes of the wings of an insect, which when viewed looks like "arrow", provided with long protuberances. The motion of the insect by its translucent body seems to "boom" and vibration of the wings give the appearance of bumps.
Investigation
Based on the characteristic shape of the "skyfish" and its size, it is a flying bird (or an insect located near the camera), shot at a long shutter speed.
