Flash of light over Drachten, and I firmly believe that this is not a storm. You don't hear anything, only the occasional inexplicable flash.
After some observation of the outbreaks there was a big bright flash of light. Followed by new outbreaks, one less bright than the other, but not so bright, as we have seen.

DRACHTEN, FR — Lichtflitsen boven Drachten, en ik geloof er sterk in dat het geen onweer is. Je hoort niks, alleen af en toe een onverklaarbare flits. Na een tijdje de flitsen in de gaten gehouden te hebben kwam er een flinke felle lichtflits. Daarop volgen meer lichtflitsen, de ene minder fel dan de andere maar niet meer zo fel als die we hadden gezien. Tussen de flitsen zit een onbepaalde tijd, het ene moment zit er 2 min tussen en het andere moment duurt het weer 5 min. Je zou toch echt denken dat dit onweer is maar momenteel onweert het in Noord-Holland (03:35) lijkt me sterk dat we de flitsen vanaf hier kunnen zien.. Het is van plan rond 06:00 te gaan onweren in Drachten.
