A second-hand account tells how an unknown man of "high social standing" went out into his garden one evening. A garden surrounded by high walls.
At the far end, he saw an egg-shaped object about two meters long, glowing white, resting horizontally on the ground.
Stunned, he suddenly noticed two very small creatures, about one and a half feet (0.4 m) tall, moving around the object with a mechanical gait, resembling robots.
He called his sister and wife, who, when confronted with this sight, screamed and ran back to the house, taking the gentleman with them.
The next morning, he examined the site and found very small footprints near where the object was, moving only in one direction, to the foot of the garden wall, where they stopped. Part of the vegetation near the landing site was scorched.

Stupefied, he suddenly observed two very small beings of about 1.5 ft tall moving about the object with a mechanical gait, suggesting robots. He summoned his sister and his wife who, confronted by the sight, screamed and ran back to the house, taking the gentleman with them. Next morning he examined the site and found very small footprints near the spot where the object had rested, moving away in one direction only, toward the foot of the garden wall, where they stopped. Some vegetation near the landing site was seared.
