Mrs foster and her daughter Lori, who was driving, were driving along Patterson road to do some shopping.
As they approached pine river road, the creature jumped out from the right side of the road in an arc about 4 feet (1.2 m) high and landed in the middle of the road. Then he leaped into the air and in a second leap disappeared into the brush on the left side of the road. Each jump must be 30 feet (9 m).
Lori slammed on the brakes as the figure pulled onto the road, even though the women were 200 feet (60 m) away from the figure. It was straight and slender, smooth, and of a dull black color from head to foot. The torso, neck, and head had normal human proportions. He was the size and build of a slender teenage boy, but he had the big leaps of a kangaroo. If the figure had hands, they were not visible to any woman.
Lori drove to the spot where the figure landed, but they didn't see any tracks. Both were too scared to go out and look for him.
Last year, there was a series of UFO sightings in the area.

Lori slammed on the brakes when the figure hit the road, although the women were 200 feet from the figure. It was upright and of slender build, a smooth, dull black color from head to foot. Torso, neck, and head were of normal human proportions. It was the size of and build of a slender teenaged boy, but was similar to a kangaroo in the large jumps it executed. If the figure had arms, they were not visible to either woman. Lori drove ahead to the spot where it had landed, but they could see no sign of it. Both were too frightened to get out and look for it. The previous year there had been a series of UFO sightings in the area.
