A girl from England showed how the old church looks from the inside, where, according to local residents, children's laughter can be heard. In the 80s, the temple was converted into a playground, after which the building was engulfed in a fire. Now it remains to understand what scares more: pictures of an abandoned room or the legends that hover around it.
The Church of the Holy Trinity, built in Torquay, Devon, was a functioning church until the 80s, where all local believers came, writes the Mirror. However, the building then became empty and remained abandoned until a billiard room was opened there. However, fans of chasing balls were not happy for long — the institution was closed, after which it was converted into a children's playground with a cafe.
In 2019, a fire broke out in the church, the cause of which was never established. After this incident, the interior of the temple began to resemble the post-apocalypse, and, as the locals say, the cathedral became a haven for ghosts, who, it seems, are no longer used to living in the world of people. Among those who believe in paranormal activity is a photographer named Wendy.
According to the British woman, when she went to the church, she clearly heard children's laughter and other sounds. Everything suggested that the temple building was full of people.
It was strange. I could hear the laughter, the shouting, the announcer saying that the food for the people was ready.
Wendy said that when she was little, her parents often took her here. The former cathedral has always been full of life, and it hurts her to watch the iconic places of her life slowly die.
Even my children celebrated their birthdays there with their friends. Too bad this place isn't here anymore. All sadness.
